These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Gold Coast Academy website and online store ("Store") and the purchase of goods or services, including online courses ("Products"), from the Store.

By accessing the Store, purchasing any Products, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

• You or Customer refers to the individual or entity accessing the Store or purchasing Products from the Store.

3. Pricing

All prices displayed are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice.
Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include Goods and Services Tax (GST).

4. Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• PayPal
• Credit/debit cards via WooCommerce, Stripe, PayPal, or other gateways as determined by us

By completing a purchase, you agree to pay all applicable fees, including any transaction fees. Failure to make payment may result in order cancellation.

5. Course Descriptions and Availability

We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images of all Products. However, we do not guarantee that all content is always accurate, complete, or up to date.

Availability of courses may vary. We reserve the right to restrict or refuse access to any course at our sole discretion.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Our courses come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

• A refund for a major failure
• Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage using the website Store or Products
• Have the goods or services repaired or replaced if they fail to meet expectations and the issue is not a major failure

7. Returns and Refunds

You may be entitled to a refund within 7 days of purchase if all the following conditions are met:

• You have not accessed any part of the course content
• You have not received a course certificate or statement of attainment
• No cheating or academic misconduct has been identified
• The course has been cancelled or withdrawn by Gold Coast Academy within your access period
• You have contacted us with reasonable evidence that you are unable to access the course

Please note: Refunds are not available for change of mind or if you have found a similar course elsewhere.

To request a refund, make a Service Request. We respond to enquiries Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm AEST.

8. Technical Requirements

To access and engage in our courses, we recommend:

• An up-to-date web browser
• JavaScript enabled
• A broadband or minimum 4G internet connection

If you experience issues accessing your course, please submit a support request. Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm AEST.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Gold Coast Academy Pty. Ltd. (ACN 106463745)  will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Store or Products.

10. Warranties

Some Products may include additional express warranties provided by us or third-party contributors. These are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website—including course materials, logos, graphics, and trademarks—is the property of The Gold Coast Academy Pty. Ltd. or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

For complaints, please make a Service Request. We aim to resolve all issues promptly and fairly. If we cannot resolve the matter internally, we may agree to participate in external dispute resolution services.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed, and the remaining Terms will remain in full effect.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at our sole discretion. Significant changes will be communicated via the Store or email. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
